HOW TO BOOK WITH LAUREN

My books open on June 1st!

When my bookings are open, you may fill out a booking form or come into the shop to fill out the form. This does not guarantee an appointment but works as an consultation sheet and gathers all of the information I will need to draw/prep your tattoo. Meaning, it’s important to be as specific and clear as possible about what you want, don’t want or what you are open to suggestions with.

It typically take us a week or two weeks to go through inquiries and reply to all submissions. If your submission is accepted, my assistant Laura will reach out to book you via email, collect a deposit and put you on my schedule. You will receive an email confirmation/reminders for your appointment. If I need any clarification or additional info when drawing, I will either book you a consult or reach out via email with questions the week of your appointment.

Then, you show up! I have your drawing ready at the beginning of your appointment. I set aside extra time during the appointment for redrawing/changes to the design (within reason). Any redrawing over 30-45 minutes will usually require a reschedule. So please be as clear as possible in your form or consult so we can avoid rescheduling. Quality tattooing requires time, commitment and trust by both parties, so if you do not feel comfortable seeing the drawing the day-of, I am not the artist for you sadly.

Pricing: My rate is $200/hour. We will give you a ballpark time estimate when your appointment is booked but please understand this is just a ballpark and could be less or more. There are so many factors that go into how long a tattoo will take including placement, skin type, your hydration level, medication, how well you sit, if you want something redrawn/resized and so on. I genuinely try my best to accurately estimate but I do ask that you plan some financial flexibility in case it takes longer than expected.

Time: I put my whole heart and effort into designing, drawing and tattooing your piece! So I ask that you also try to leave some flexibility time-wise the day of your appointment. I would advise you to not make dire plans immediately after your appointment as I cannot guarantee we’ll finish in the exact booked timeframe (due to the same variables listed above^). I understand everyone is eager for a finished piece as quick as possible, but I will also will never sacrifice the quality of a tattoo or rush in order to finish.

Please understand that I have limited availability and can only take on set amount of appointments a month. There’s a few factors I take into consideration when going through inquiries and accepting people– schedule compatibility, what I’m currently inspired by, whether my skillset and style can make you the best possible tattoo or if referring to to another artist would make for a better tattoo, etc. Thank you and I can’t wait to hear your ideas!
